Developmental & Line Editing
Developmental editing is available for short fiction and novel manuscripts. These are big-picture edits on character development, structure, pacing, and whether your plot and characters developing clearly over the course of the story. My critiques have two goals—to make sure your book is succeeding on a craft level, while also honoring your artistic vision and ensuring it’s at the heart of the project.
For projects near completion, as well as poetry and query letters, I also offer line edits. As the the name suggests, these edits allow authors see how they could improve on a sentence level. My approach emphasizes clarity and making sure the author’s authentic voice finds its way to the page.
Hourly rates are $100/hour and pricing packages are available. I’ll always provide a free consultation and project quote based on word count and project scope.

Video Sessions
It’s always possible to add a half-hour or hour-long video (or audio) session to any feedback. The goal of these meetings is to clarify any questions on feedback, brainstorm how to incorporate changes, and outline a plan for revisions.
Pricing $50 for 1/2 hour, $100 for 1 hour.
